Senseless shooting: Germaine&Kenny Wilson need us

Germaine Wilson is the most loving and positive person you can ever know. Her son, Kenny is just as amazing. Kenny was senselessly shot on May 20. He has been in two different hospitals and has had to undergo countless surgeries and procedures. This is yet another unknown motive and senseless shooting breaking the hearts of this mother and son. On May 20 Kenny traveled to DC with a few friends as they have been doing together for over 3 years. As they exited the nightclub, they were approaching the parking garage and were met with 2 men with masks robbing them and shooting Kenny and a young woman friend. It is rumored that these men may never be caught and were likely acting out as part of an initiation to a gang.

I have been friends with Germaine since 1992 - we worked together at Charlestown Retirement Community. I remember when she was pregnant with Kenny. He is an amazing person, a hard worker and a father of two children. Germaine calls her grandson her GrandPrize. When you are with Germaine she is bright and full of positive love.

Let's please assist them by raising some money to pay the exorbitant medical bills Kenny will be faced with. I am hopeful all current and former Erickson and Charlestown friends and family will help Germaine and Kenny to focus on his health and recovery without worrying about the medical bills.
