SEPSIS and FLESH EATING BUG MUTILATED 4 LIFE!!!

Hi my name is Emma 37yrs. 2yrs ago on 22/2/01 my life was turnt upside down by sepsis whilst in an induced coma I then contacted necrotizing fasitis ( flesh eating bug) which ripped through 4 limbs and my stomach. I have been left with horrendous injuries and scars including an amputation of my left leg the skin on my stomach is only 2mm thick! I'm awaiting reconstructed surgery on my stomach as everyday I worry that the slightest scratch could tear it apart. Even after this surgery I was told all my skin grafts would need redoing but te NHS has now classed these as cosmetic which I would have to pay for myself. 85% of muscle was destroyed due to NF and most skin grafts ate to the bone I've also had bone and tendon removed from my left arm and right leg. My right foot is deformed to the point I cannot wear normal shoes. I cover myself from neck to toe everyday because it makes me so depressed I've even felt suicidal at times. I never wanted to do this go fund me I've tried everything loans, grants and charities for help unsuccessfully. I have no independence the doctors recommended my mam switch my life support off as I would have no quality of life and only had a 2% chance of survival. Obliviously shw refused and here I am today however on 4/3/22 things took a dramatic turn for the worse when my mam was rushed into hospital extremely unwell with sepsis and put in an induced coma and things wasn't looking good, this sparked my ptsd and caused me to have a breakdown. I've since realised that I need to be ome independent I'm only 37 I don't want to remain in a wheelchair my whole life I used to be a cross country runner and dream of being able to walk again, also since my mam who's my main carer became ill and waiting on surgery herself can no longer lift or push my wheelchair we are basically housebound. I have had to face reality that mam won't be here forever I really need to become independent NOW and cannot do this without the equipment and professional help that I need that'd why I have bit my lip let go of my embarrassment to do this go fund me And ask for help. I'd like to thank you for reading my story I plan on documenting every step of the way and keep everyone informed and I want to raise awareness of NF as its only JUST been put on the gmc register as most doctors only read about it in textbooks. I desperately need a lightweight electric wheelchair, a hoist and ramp for the car, an anti stumble electronic prostectic leg, hydrotherapy,private physio as NHS only offer 30mins awk with my injuries it's going to take alot more than this. Cosmetic surgery to build up my arms (photo included) surgery on my foot (not eligible on NHS) bath seat and various disability aids in the house to make life alot easier and give me the independence needed as it is we are private renting as the council would only house me in old people's homes or a mental health facility. I would not be asking for donations but every penny we receive goes to the rent and bills there is no possible way we can save.
