Sepsis Survivor: David Schied Needs Help
Donation protected
David Schied has certainly lived an eventful life; he has been a stuntman, schoolteacher, author, martial arts coach, and has taught gymnastics to special needs children.
But more recently, David has become a Sepsis survivor. This deadly condition took him from a healthy adult, to needing full life support on various organs, all in a matter of days. The end result was a choice between death or living with no lower legs and no fingers (with the exception of his left pinky), David chose life.
Since then he has made a strong recovery, nurses at the hospital claimed it was one of the fastest recoveries they had seen from people attacked by Sepsis. He now walks with prosthetic legs and continues to write and type as best as he can.
Although David has made such a miraculous recovery, he's not in the clear yet. He is struggling to afford the prosthetics he needs on his hands/fingers, and furthermore is obviously unable to work. If you donate, your money will go to getting David the prosthetics he needs and making sure his basic necessities like rent, food, and bills are paid for.
Thank you
