Help me Transition and afford gender affirming HRT

Hey, I'm Seren (they/she). I’m a 20 year old university student studying computer science.
I am currently on the NHS waiting list however, due to the current 5+ year wait times for first appointments with NHS gender clinics, I have decided to pursue private healthcare with The Gender Hormone Clinic. I am expected to start treatment in October 2024.
Costs to access care include:
- £500 Appointment for gender assessment referal.
- £1570 Clinic fees over the 2 year care period.
- Travel costs to London
These expenses are essential for accessing the care and support to begin my medical transition. While I am managing to cover some expenses, the combination of NHS wait times and my current financial situation means I need a little extra help to achieve this goal.
