Serge Fournier Funeral and Memorial Campaign

While riding the bus home after running errands, Serge Fournier was pushed violently from behind by a young women who was told to "be nicer to people" after reportedly being rude to fellow passengers.  

Serge fell on his head and died from his injuries on April 23. He was 74 years old. He leaves behind his daughter and long time partner of 24 years Miss Esther, who he cherished.

Funeral services are yet to be held until his autopsy is complete. Funds from this campaign will be used to help cover expenses for his Funeral/Celebration of Life Memorial, rent and general living expenses for Miss Esther. 

Serge and Ester moved to Las Vegas in 2004 and have lived at the Desert Plaza Apartments for 14 years. Fellow residents remember Serge's  compassion, kindness, generosity and loving spirit.

"Serge and Esther were the first ones to welcome me to Las Vegas with open arms when I first started working here at Desert Plaza. They treated me like family when I knew no one" 

Serge loved Disney and was an avid collector of lots of things. He was known to giveaway his treasures "Just because that's who he was"

This senseless act of violence has shaken our Las Vegas community while also leaving Serge's beloved Miss Esther and his daughter with unexpected expenses. Miss Esther's rent is covered for June at the start of this campaign. As they we're not married, Miss Esther can not benefit from Serge's social security. 

There's nothing we can do to ease the families pain, but we can make Serge proud and take care of the his wife Miss Esther so she can have some financial breathing room during this time.
