Sergeant Downes needs your help!

On 12/28/2022 Sergeant Downes was flown from Sahuarita hospital to St. Mary’s hospital due to suffering a heart attack. He was rushed into surgery where they found his main artery, known as the widow maker, was %100 closed and two other arteries were %95 blocked. He had a stent placed into his artery and will remain at the hospital until Friday where he will be having another surgery. James Downes, 36, is a loving husband to Melissa and proud father to 2 boys and 2 girls. He is also a dedicated Supports Sergeant at the Tucson Cimarron Unit and an active TSU member. Both families are hurting and praying for a safe and quick recovery. Any money donated will be given to the Downes family to help ease the burden of this terrible situation as the medical bills will start piling up. We all know how hard and how much over time that Jimmy works in order to provide for his family. He will not be able to do this for some time and any amount that you can donate will help. For those of you that know, James and Melissa once selflessly helped me in a time of need, as I had a heart attack while on the job. They never asked for anything in return and I only hope to return the favor to such an amazing family.
