Serhii Ivchenko

A Tragic event occurred on Sunday, December 4th to the family of a

volunteer at the Ukrainian Store, and recent immigrant to Nova Scotia,

Natalia Ivchenko. Her very dear father, Serhii Ivchenko passed away after a fall at the age of 63.

Natalia's parents had only arrived in Halifax in the past 3 months, and they both

gave of their time to also volunteer at the store. Naturally, the

family is in shock. They have lost not only a son, husband, and

father, but also the only driver in the family and a wage earner who

helped support the household. With the high cost of a funeral, we are

seeking to raise some much needed funds to help the family cover the

funeral costs and other related expenses. Please consider giving what
