Sergio Cadena’s brain stent placement

Dear friends and family,

 

As some of you know, last Friday my dad’s leg suddenly stopped working properly and shortly after, his communication skills were affected too. After doing an MRI, the doctors realized that he suffered from a stroke and found a clot in his brain. They described his current condition as “extremely lucky” but emphasized that it needs to be addressed ASAP with a procedure that involves inserting a stent in one of his brain’s arteries.

 

Many of you have reached out expressing interest in helping my family and we are truly thankful for all the kindness and support we have received. At this time, we welcome anything that can help us cover the cost of his surgery, which is scheduled for the morning of Tuesday, March 15th. However, if you cannot help us financially we appreciate you keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
