Sergio's fight against cancer

The fight against cancer goes on. The Enriquez Family has been private about the battle they have been going through for over a year with their only son Sergio (aka;Sergito, Pa, lil Serg). Sergito was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in April 2019.   He had surgery in September to remove a mass on his left leg along with muscle in his calf and upper tibia. He has been in and out of the hospital since enduring chemotherapy, and everything else that comes along with this diagnosis. He's a fighter and his faith has always been strong in God. After his last chemo treatment in Feb 2020 everything seemed to be looking up. Then after his scan in March a nodule was found in his left lung and yet again another surgery was needed. He's had countless surgeries including skin graft, muscle flap reconstruction and at one point an infection. Here we are June 2020 after he had his 3 month follow up scan which showed new nodules in his right lung, which will require another surgery and more treatment. The family is staying strong and hopeful and are focusing all their positive energy on Sergito.
