Serve Hope: Cambodian Youth Tennis Project

Dear Friends, Family and Supporters,
We are thrilled to launch our first GoFundMe campaign to make a lasting impact on the lives of disadvantaged children in Cambodia. At TC4K Switzerland, we believe in the transformative power of tennis and education to uplift communities and create brighter futures.
Our mission is to uplift disadvantaged children aged 6-18 in Cambodia by promoting their development through tennis and education, enabling them to thrive on the values of hard work and solidarity.
In 2023, our journey was marked by extraordinary events for our young talents, notably the participation of two young Cambodians in the ITF Futures Junior Finals in Phnom Penh, an opportunity made possible by the support of our supporters. In addition, our young players competed brilliantly in the U-10, U-12, U-14 and U-18 categories at the 28th Tep Khunnah Memorial. Organised in a round robin format, the matches were a rewarding experience for the 'kids'.
However, in order to continue and expand our impactful programmes in 2024, we need your support.
We need to raise funds quickly for several initiatives, including the purchase of a tennis court in Kep and the reopening of our school. These efforts will provide more opportunities for underprivileged children to access quality education and sports facilities, enabling them to build a brighter future.
We also want to provide financial support for Pelu, a 12-year-old orphan from Battambang. Pelu excels in both tennis and football, and had been recruited by Real Madrid before the pandemic disrupted her plans. Now, Pelu plans to continue her studies in Phnom Penh and play tennis at the same time.
Another of our protégés, 12-year-old Ratanak, also needs sponsorship to compete in tournaments and earn his first ITF points. His goal is to compete in as many international tournaments as possible in the U14 category, with the ambition of becoming the first Cambodian junior to achieve an international ranking. In 2023, during the national U18 championship, Ratanak delivered an exceptional performance by securing third place, a remarkable achievement for a player typically engaged in the U14 category.
Your contribution will be vital in helping them achieve their goals this year.
We are extremely grateful for the support we have received from our regular donors to date. Your generosity has already made a tangible difference to the lives of many disadvantaged children in Cambodia.
However, our journey is far from over and we need your continued support to ensure the sustainability and growth of our programmes. Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards providing education, sports opportunities and a brighter future for the kids.
Your help is invaluable and we humbly ask for your support for 2024 to help us continue our mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these young athletes.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Michel Pasche
