Service Costs for Richard Pelzer
Donation protected
On Friday September 13th, Richard ended his own life after a long, difficult battle with his mental health.
He left behind his four children, Nicole (25), Andrew (23), Lauren (21), and Elliott (19). He was a beloved father, author, scholar, and friend.
Richard’s last wishes were to leave his four children solely responsible for planning and implementing his services.
We are all young adults working full time and doing our best to support ourselves, and would like to honor our father’s wishes as best as possible. He asked to be cremated without traditional funeral services, but we would like to honor him with a small celebration of life and his accomplishments.
We are hoping to do this at a location along the South Shore of Massachusetts, where we know he would have loved, and are hoping to have a small gathering with light refreshments, photos and memories, and stories to celebrate his life. As arrangements are made, please reach out for details of services.
Any amount of help is immensely appreciated any excess funds after his services will be donated to Community Counseling of Bristol County, whose mission is to provide quality mental health and substance abuse services to those in our community.
