Service Dog Bit By Venomous Snake -Help!
Olive vs. Rattlesnake
Olive is a rescued, 2 years old Chi mix visiting my (yes, it's me, Dana Buffin) home in Luling, TX with her human Tracey Long. Olive was bit by a venomous snake on our property on the evening of October 21 and immediate emergency care was needed. It's not cheap, as Olive will require pain meds, antivenom, and other treatments (Full vet bill will be posted).
Despite Olive's less than ideal start in life, she is in a loving home with a human who cares deeply for her. Olive has been trained as a service animal for Tracey to deal with a lifelong medical issue. Their caring bond goes both ways.
Due to Covid restrictions, Tracey has been unable to earn her normal income as a massage therapist. And, she needs our help to make sure Olive get the care she needs.
The bill is estimated to be $2,550.86 but Olive will spend the night tonight and it could go up. Tracey has to hand over $1,900 tonight, so funds are needed ASAP.
