Service Dog for Tourette's And FND
Donation protected
I'm raising funds for a service dog from Glad Wags of Oklahoma to assist me with my Tourette's syndrome and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition characterized by involuntary movements and vocalizations known as tics. These tics can be disruptive and often lead to anxiety and social challenges. FND is a condition where there are neurological symptoms that cannot be explained by traditional medical diagnoses, often resulting in seizures, weakness, or other debilitating symptoms.
A service dog can provide invaluable support in my daily life. They are trained to alert me before a seizure occurs, allowing me to take precautions and stay safe. Additionally, the dog will be trained in Deep Pressure Therapy (DPT), which helps to calm me during overwhelming moments or anxiety attacks. This support can significantly improve my quality of life, enabling me to manage my symptoms more effectively and regain some independence.
Your help in funding this service dog will make a tremendous difference in my life, and I appreciate any support you can offer. Thank you for considering my cause!
The cost breakdown
