Service Dog Injuries from Hit and Run

Donation protected
Foxtrot is a working service dog and lifeline for Cindy Teets. His job of being a working service dog is now in jeopardy. Foxtrot and Cindy were outside for a potty break on Friday night when a vehicle crossed over the center line and into the yard, hitting Foxtrot. The driver then left the scene. Foxtrot was rushed to an emergency vet hospital. He has injuries on his leg and head, including open wounds, and was on IVs and meds for three days. He travels to the vet twice a week for the next few months for wound care and will likely need skin grafts and additional surgeries. The vet bills have totaled $7000, with more to come. Foxtrot has a long recovery ahead of him.

Foxtrot has given Cindy the gift of independence and companionship for the past three years. He assists her with physical tasks and has improved her psychological well-being. Before being partnered with Foxtrot, Cindy spent most of her time at home. Thanks to Foxtrot, she gets out and about more often. As Cindy has stated, "We can go out and conquer the world."

Foxtrot has made a massive difference in Cindy's life. Please consider helping Cindy with this financial strain.
