Service Dog Surgery! Help Ory!
Donation protected
My name is Jess Jones, and I am an Ed Tech at Willard School in the classroom with Ory and Willow. Ory is a service dog to Mrs. Suratt, the teacher in my classroom. She is replacing Willow, the 8 year old Aunt to Ory, sometime in the future. Ory has had a rough go of it as she has already had ectopic ureter surgery in the fall and has recovered well from it.
Ory has been in the self contained class since she was 8 weeks old and is an integral part of our class. Mrs. Suratt recently found out that Ory has hip dysplasia and degenerated hips as well as torn ACL's in both of her knees.
She is requiring three different surgeries with the hip being the most urgent! While they are still up in the air about whether she will have a total replacement or an osteotomy (bone will be cut off), the cost is extensive regardless.
The surgery will ensure Ory a long healthy and fulfilling life free from pain.
