Service dog training for boys seizures

Donation protected
A boy and his dog. We have all heard of that magical bond where the best qualities come out when a boy meets just the right pup. I am a grandmother reaching out to you for financial assistance to help my grandson Jerry get a service dog. The costs to adopt and train a service dog can be more than $20,000. We need less than $2,000. Jerry has Autism Spectrum Disorder, seizures, cerebral palsy and lives constantly with high anxiety. You may know a child like this and you know how much love, care and concern it takes. Jerry can have a seizure at any moment. He's had two major surgeries on his legs for the cerebral palsy, falling from a seizure adds further risk to his body. Jerry at the age of 12 has had to deal with major challenges. Recently a door opened so Jerry could receive a life-time blessing in the form of a companion service dog. A certified service dog trainer found a rare, all white German Shepherd named Ghost. This pup was found in a shelter, vetted, neutered and available for adoption. All adoption fees have been paid but Ghost still needs to be trained. The $2,000 we need will cover the costs to train Ghost and work with Jerry on how to handle him. I have never created a GoFundMe account before but this is my precious grandson. Can you help? Thank you. Barbara
