Service dog training T1D Caleb

My son, Caleb was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 2. This disease is the most life altering and difficult to control. Diabetes can be so heartbreaking for me as a mother. Always worried, stressed, confused!! At the age of 4, Caleb was diagnosed with Celiac disease, he is allergic to wheat. This complicates diabetes even more. Caleb is such a strong boy and he is my hero!! I want to give him the best and happiest life I can; I believe this alert dog will help him be more confident and independent. Buddy is 1 year old, he works with us everyday with checking blood sugars. He has been Alerting us for the past 7 months on high and low blood sugars. We are continuing his training for obedience.
