Service Trip to Purulhá Guatemala

I am thrilled to share with you news that I have been selected to serve on a Global Health Perspectives internship through Denver College of Nursing. I was chosen for a service learning internship traveling to Purulhá, Guatemala in September 2022. This exciting internship partners with a nonprofit organization called Refuge International. Our internship will focus on providing clinical care for several communities in Purulhá. While on the internship, we will also be partnering with local health care to deliver sustainable long-term solutions to community needs. The most important goal is to empower local health care providers and enable Guatemalan families to thrive independently long after our departure.

I am so thankful for this chance to contribute my nursing skills on a global level and would sincerely appreciate it if you would partner with me to raise funds to get me there.

My goal is to raise $1,300 by August 17, 2022. This money will cover the flight to Guatemala and, more importantly, provide needed funds to donate medical supplies, equipment, and program support for International Medical Relief.
