Servina Joseph Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,
Our beloved, mother and grandmother, Servina Joseph (Coco) has gone home to see the Lord. She passed away October 5th 2021, surrounded by family friends and her church community. Coco was an incredible woman who has touched the lives of so many people. Over her ninety-eight years of life, she had been a pillar of support for many different communities, both in Massachusetts and her home in Haiti.
Coco dedicated her life to ministering and being as instrumental to her community as possible. When her family relocated her to the states, so that she could live a better life, Coco continued to give whatever she could to her family and friends back home. We have memories of catching her sneaking a pile of nightgowns, that we had bought for her, into a box that our mother had prepared to send to Haiti. Her argument was that she was safe and clothed here and that she could always wash and rotate through her three favorite nightgowns. She always found a way to give more than was required.
Although we knew her time was coming at some point, we did not expect it to happen so soon. Our family had not yet prepared for the high cost of her funeral, and during this difficult time we are reaching out for help. With all that Coco has done for us and her community, we would love for her to have a proper memorial to allow her loved ones and those she has touched to celebrate her life and say their farewells.
We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Coco’s funeral, as well as any other costs to come in the days that follow. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.
Thank you,
Cius Family
