Serving orphans in Kenya in June 2023!

- My name is Julia Hahn, and I am a college student! I will be traveling to Kenya, Africa, from June 18 - July 1 this summer with Unafaa International! I have gone to this destination in 2019 and 2022, and I made friends with so many kids and adults there. Both trips were huge blessings, and I cannot wait to serve and grow relationships further.
- Unafaa International, a non-profit organization based in my own city, primarily serves the huge orphan population in Kenya. We strive to break generational poverty by providing vocational training, physical necessities, and relational support. Every orphan deserves to know that they matter and that there is hope for them.
- For the these two weeks, my team and I will be staying at FIWAGOH Orphanage, and I so look forward to the worship, meals, games, and talks that I will have with my friends who live there. Furthermore, Unafaa recently purchased land for a new compound, so our team will be progressing that mission and serving Unafaa’s ministries (feeding program, women’s sewing workshop, carpentry program) that are currently scattered around the area.
- I would sincerely appreciate your support in this experience, as I need to raise enough money to make this trip possible for me. I am looking to raise $3,200 to cover my expenses. I have committed $300, and I look to have at least $2200 by March in order to purchase my flight tickets.
