CASA DIOSAS - Birth & Education Sanctuary

Hi, I am Krishinda Powers-Duff and I need your support to bring my project CASA DIOSAS to life!

Casa Diosas Birth and Education Sanctuary is a space for women and families who want to birth with dignity and love, respecting the sacredness of their journey .

I believe that pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period are sacred moments in our lives. These experiences offer us the unique opportunity to connect with life and the goddess energy around us and to do deep work on ourselves that will enable us to be conscious parents.

Being supported by caregivers who work with this understanding and actively base their practice on creating and supporting a space to give loving care in pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period is an essential part of the journey to creating joyful families

Sharing this knowledge and the skills we possess to support healthy, normal pregnancies and natural births is also an essential part of normalising pregnancy and birth in a time where medicalisation has deemed them as a pathology.

I believe that knowledge and skills surrounding normality in pregnancy and birth should be shared by everyone. Just as we all should know how to grow our own food in a natural and healthy way, it is the same for pregnancy and birth.

At Casa Diosas Birth and Education Sanctuary we will teach anyone with a desire to learn about how to have a healthy natural pregnancy and birth. We will also teach those who want to facilitate this for others.

Primarily we will offer a space for women to give birth in nature, assisted by midwives specialised in natural and spiritual birth. Our birth packages will consist of, Antenatal care from week 28 until birth Labour and birth support

Six weeks postnatal support (with the first week given while the family is still recuperating onsite)

Our postnatal care will include Intensive breastfeeding support, Holistic therapies to assist mother, baby and partners in the early days of their postnatal journey; physically, energetically and emotionally.

As an extension to this we will offer antenatal, birth, postnatal and conscious/ natural parenting education to women and families who are interested in empowering themselves through education.

In short, Casa Diosas Birth and Education Sanctuary will be a place where the journey of pregnancy, birth and parenting, is held and supported to flourish in a space of love, dignity and deep reverence.

El Santuario de Nacimiento y Educación Casa Diosas es un espacio para embarazadas y sus familias que quieren dar a luz con dignidad y amor, respetando lo sagrado de su proceso.

Considero que el embarazo, el parto y el puerperio son momentos sagrados de nuestra vida. Estas experiencias nos ofrecen una oportunidad única de conectarnos con la vida, la energía de la diosa que nos rodea y de hacer un trabajo profundo con nosotras mismas, permitiendonos ser madres y padres conscientes.

Estar apoyada por cuidadoras que trabajan con este entendimiento y basan su práctica activamente en crear y apoyar un espacio para brindar atención amorosa durante el embarazo, el parto y el período posnatal es una parte esencial de la creación de familias felices.

Compartir este conocimiento y las habilidades que poseemos para apoyar embarazos normales y saludables y partos naturales también es una parte esencial para normalizar el embarazo y el parto en una época en la que la medicalización los ha considerado una patología.

Creo que todos debemos compartir el conocimiento y las habilidades que rodean la normalidad en el embarazo y el parto. Así como todos deberíamos saber cultivar nuestros propios alimentos de forma natural y saludable, lo mismo ocurre con el embarazo y el parto.

En Casa Diosas Birth and Education Sanctuary, le enseñaremos a cualquier persona que desee aprender cómo tener un embarazo y un parto natural y saludable. También enseñaremos a aquellos que quieran facilitar esto a otros.

Principalmente ofreceremos un espacio para que las mujeres den a luz en la naturaleza asistidas por comadronas y parteras especializadas en parto natural y espiritual. Nuestros paquetes de nacimiento consistirán en,

atención prenatal desde la semana 28 hasta el nacimiento

Apoyo al trabajo de parto y nacimiento

Seis semanas de apoyo posnatal (la primera semana se brinda mientras la familia aún se está recuperando en el lugar)

Nuestro cuidado postnatal incluirá Apoyo intensivo a la lactancia, Terapias holísticas para ayudar a la madre, el bebé y la pareja en los primeros días de su proceso posnatal; física, energética y emocionalmente.

Como extensión de esto, ofreceremos educación prenatal, de nacimiento, posnatal y de crianza consciente/natural a mujeres y familias que estén interesadas en empoderarse a sí mismas a través de la educación.

En resumen, el Santuario de Nacimiento y Educación de Casa Diosas será un lugar donde se lleve a cabo y se apoye el proceso de embarazo, el nacimiento y la crianza de los hijos para que florezca en un espacio de amor, dignidad y profunda reverencia.
