Seventh Sun is curating our first debut album, which story tells through composition about people, culture and society. Like many others, our mission is impossible without the community's support. Through your appreciated support and time, Seventh Sun will be able to take the necessary steps toward creating a space for performance and education, giving way for growth for the next generation of artists.

Seventh Sun, a multi-instrumentalist/composer whose passion for activism drives his creativity, Seventh Sun is a genre-blending ensemble based in Boston, MA. Performing idioms of Jazz, R&B, Blues and Hip-hop, their repertoire includes well-known and original compositions. An explosive array of various co-artist joins Seventh Sun for their debut. Artists such as Jesus Molina, Jazzmeia Horn, Jeremy Pelt and many more. Seventh Sun has collaborated with and featured Tia Fuller, Rodney Ruckus, Frank Lacy, and The Curtis Brothers in Shifu's Apprentice. - A Tribute to Ralph Peterson Jr., and performed with Lew Tabackin, Smokey Robinson, George Delancey, Shannon Larkin, and others. Seventh Sun has toured the East Coast, Midwest and Southern regions of the U.S. The release of the band's debut album is set for next year.

The release of our first album, entitled "Seventh Sun," is set for March 2024, with one single release. Seventh Sun blends styles and narrates a societal storyline from where we have been to where we need to go. An example of true modern progressive thought, artistically shown to the viewer through the lens of truth, knowledge and unapologetic cultural expression. Seventh Sun aspires to offer our audiences true artistry and be a light creatively in our society. Listeners are encouraged to consider their place in society through its intersection with music.

Seventh Sun would like to raise $30,000. Funding received would be allocated towards recording/mixing and mastering costs, musician salaries, project marketing, promotion, merchandise, transportation, film/video and tour costs before and after the album release.

Every donor that supports our project will be given an option to be added to our email lists and private social media outlets, showing behind the scene work with our band, special guests, rehearsals, show updates, bloopers and more! Donors will also have a sneak peek at the behind-the-scenes work with our podcast "TalkNote" by Seventh Sun, which features nine-time Grammy Winning Trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and many others and debuts next year!
