Sev’s road to recovery

Hi everyone. It’s a been a tough 2 months time for our man Tom ( Coach Sev) Severtson and family . As many of you know Sev survived stage 4 throat cancer 9 years ago and due to that there have been a myriad of ongoing side effects. One of these has been high susceptibility to pneumonia. On Labor Day Sev was admitted to the hospital with an extreme case of pneumonia. He fought as hard as he could to get home and two weeks later we were on the way. Well unfortunately before he even set foot in the house he experienced extreme shock causing his blood pressure to plummet his heart and organs to fail. He collapsed in the garage, ambulances were called, and he was immediately rushed back into the hospital. Fluids were pumped out of his body and was put on 100 liters of oxygen . He was in the icu for 3 weeks until they could get his vitals back to normal . He is now in a rehabilitation center getting care . He has fought as hard as he could to regain his strength and has made some amazing progress but his and our lives have been forever changed . He is able to stand with assistance and walk with a walker but will need a wheelchair at times as well. This means we will need to adjust our house accordingly to make him comfortable. Sev has never asked for help like this his entire life and has always given to those who need it. Now we are humbly asking you all for help if you can spare. We are looking at massive medical bills and renovations to the house to make him comfortable. Below are some of the expenses we would be looking to utilize your support for. If Sev has ever touched your life on any way he would be forever grateful if you could spare any help for us in our hour of need.
