Revision in May - chest surgery

Hi, my name is Harris.

I am raising funds to help me pay for gender affirming chest surgery.

The day my friend told me about their reduction surgery, I had a wonderful realisation that there was something that could actually help with some of the body dysphoria I get.

That was a super exciting day for me!

And then I realised how much the surgery costs here.

All of the funds will be going to the fees below.

It is roughly $18,000 all up.

$12,000 surgeon fee

$3,800 hospital fee

$2,000 anaesthetist fee

$450 blood work fee

I'm a single parent, I work part-time doing health reception and support work, and I parent my 8 year old part time.

My lovely housemate has loaned me a portion of the fee, interest free. Which is what made this doable for me now. And I am slowly paying her back.
