Phillip's Stolen Camera Gear

Phillip Harder is a photographer and videographer based in Austin, TX. He has been responsible for music videos, album covers, and photographing artists, musicians, in the Austin community.

His gear was stolen from his car last Saturday night, including cameras, lenses, lighting equipment and hard drives. Essentially everything he uses to keep his photography business alive. The authorities have been contacted, and pawn shops and camera shops have been notified, but there has been no word about the missing gear.

These hard drives included an in-progress music video for a band that will need to be completely re-shot and 2 other photoshoots that will not be recovered.

We are asking artists, fans, and friends who have enjoyed phillip's artistic output to contribute anything they can to help him recover from this. We estimate the cost of equipment lost to be $10,000, not including the priceless work contained on the hard drives.

On a personal note, phillip is one of my best friends and has been there for me in every capacity since I’ve know him- as a hand to help me out, a photographer to create with, and a friend to turn to in hard times. Such an unlucky situation invites us to respond to negativity with positivity and i hope you’ll join me in supporting.
