MacMillan Coffee Morning & Culiagh Board Walk
Hi, my name is Carina and I’m fundraising for Macmillan Cancer.
As most of you know, we lost our beautiful Mum back in February from the dreaded C word. It has been a rollercoaster 6 months, our emotions have been everywhere. It’s so hard to ‘take it all in’
We never understood the impact that Cancer has to a family, until it happened to our own little family.
Mum was the most amazing person to so many different people. The stories that we have since heard of mums kindness and generosity in her humble way is so heart warming.
Mum loved life, she was robbed of her life far far too young.
Every year we hold a Coffee Morning for MacMillan Cancer, little did we know how much we, as a family, would depend on MacMillan. MacMillan was such a supportive network for Mum and also for those around her. We reached out to them and cried our hearts to them when we were feeling worried, sad and scared. The help and comfort their amazing staff gave us will never be forgotten…
Therefore this year we feel, we need to
give something back to MacMillan. On Friday 16 & Saturday 17 September we will hold a Coffee Morning at Jolly Sandwich and on Sunday 25th September we will walk Culiagh. All family and friends welcome.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Thank You
Carina
