Nitin Raju and Rian Merchant, as co-founders of Let The Kids Play, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, are dedicated to rectifying disparities within the sports domain. Our motivation stems from firsthand observations of inequities prevalent in sporting experiences nationwide. Recognizing deficiencies in equipment quality and training opportunities, we resolved to rectify such imbalances and foster an environment of equitable access within athletics. Collaborating with esteemed organizations such as Double Play, Recycle Balls, NYO Sports, the Westminster Schools, among others, we have orchestrated equipment drives, facilitated the donation of used sporting gear, and are working to financially cover registration costs for athletic leagues. Within the past six months with the help of Adam Urmann and Tanay Iyengar, we have expanded our outreach by establishing sister chapters in Zürich, Switzerland, and Dubai, UAE, thus extending our global footprint. With your generous support, we hope to amplify our impact, broaden our service offerings, and organize additional events to enrich the lives of children worldwide, cultivating a passion for sports.
