SFCF Supports 3rd Street Youth

As a gym, San Francisco Crossfit provides a place in the community where we can come together and support each other. But we have open eyes that not everyone in our greater community is able to afford basic needs and services.

This inequality has led to great wealth disparities in San Francisco, where some of our citizens - whose ancestors helped built this town and the wealth we all benefit from to this day - have been deeply discriminated against.

That is why we are supporting 3rd Street Youth Center. "The 3rd Street Youth Center and Clinic is a community based agency providing youth in Bayview Hunters Point with medical and behavioral health services that encourage them to make decisions that support their health, safety and development."

On Saturday, we honor George Floyd with the George Floyd Hero WOD. Join us in supporting equitable treatment of black and brown families right here in San Francisco. All donations are sent directly to 3rd Street Youth Center on behalf of SFCF as a group.

This fundraiser will be live through Sunday, June 7th. We know money is tight right now for all of us, but we also fully understand the strength and generosity of our community. Let's try to raise this, and more, before then!
