Support Tamika as she fights cancer
Donation protected
Good evening everyone.
As most of you know, our beautiful sister in law
Tamika has been fighting peritoneal cancer silently for over 1.5 years now and this darkness has come into their lives and consumed so much precious time and energy trying to beat this awful disease. Tamika has been doing chemotherapy for the past 6 months which has unfortunately turned out to be not as effective as hoped against this aggressive cancer. In March Tamika will yet again undergo her 2nd major surgery (read the “mother of all surgeries”) in an effort to try and contain the cancer. This operation is extremely risky and will require an extensive month or more stay in Chris Obrien life house plus months of recovery all over again. Tamika and Billy have taken long stints off work back and forth with treatment and appointments already, and unfortunately this will require them both to take another step back from the workforce which no doubt takes a massive toll mentally and financially. Although they would never ask for help as they are too proud, I feel that any donation will relieve the burden and stress that comes with medical and living expenses during and after surgery. We don’t know what the recovery or road ahead will be until after surgery but if anyone can beat this, it’s our girl Tamika. The generosity and kindness in the past has been more than we could have hoped. Your support means everything to us. I don’t know what else to say except, thank you. Please share this with any friends and family that may be able to help and keep Tamika, Billy and Quinn in your thoughts.
