Hope and Healing for Brian Lane

Our friend and colleague, Brian Lane, whom is a highly respected urologic oncologist in the state of Michigan and a leader of the Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaborative (MUSIC), needs our support.  In 2018, Brian learned that he had myxoid liposarcoma as well as as separate tumor in his kidney.  He underwent weeks of radiation, as well as two surgeries to remove the tumors.  Both cancers had been in remission for over 2 years, until mid-January when routine scans showed the return of the sarcoma.  Unfortunately, follow-up testing shows the sarcoma is in an advanced stage.

Brian is a fighter and is undergoing intense chemotherapy for the treatment for his cancer.  The weeks and months ahead will certainly be challenging for Brian and thus we are asking anyone that can give, to consider donating to Brian and his family.  Brian has spent years working tirelessly to care for patients with urologic cancer and now it is our turn to help him.
