Hi, I'm Connie Savage; Chelsea McWhorter is my daughter and Daniel McWhorter is my son-in-law. Daniel and Chelsea have three daughters and they live in Ozark, Alabama.

On January 24, 2023 Daniel had a stroke that has left his left hand and left leg with weakness. He is doing weekly physical therapy and has to walk with a cane for stability. He was seen by a neurologist on February 1, 2023. The neurologist informed Daniel that he cannot return to work until further notice and should apply for short-term disability if he has it. Unfortunately, Daniel does not have short-term disability.

My daughter is a kindergarten teacher at Newton Elementary School in Newton, Alabama, but her monthly income alone is not enough to keep their home, finances, daycare, medical co-pays, and other medical bills covered.
