Support for Livia's Children After Her Tragic Loss

It is with heavy hearts that we, the Doirin and Pierre family write to share the news of Livia Doirin's unexpected death at the age of 31. She was murdered, taken from her children and our family, due to domestic violence. She leaves behind 4 kids, ages 16, 13, 5, 3, who will need major counselling services, as well as family and community support for years to come. I am Sam, Livia's youngest sibling and only brother so my mother, grandmother, sisters, nieces and nephews are all relying on me to be the strength of our family, which is quite difficult due to the circumstances. I am a Environmental Health & Safety professional, just two years out of college working to support my family in any way I can, however, I realize this burden to too heavy to think I/we can do it alone. Livia was a young mother and never imagined she wouldn't be here to better stabilize a future for the kids so soon. We are asking the community of care to assist us with the costs of memorializing her and transitioning the kids to a different home environment for the beginnings of a more stable future. Christmas is also a week away and we are hoping to flood them with as much love as we can by meeting their needs and fulfilling a few of their wants.
