Bring Jonathan Home!

In November of 2022 Silvia Marmolejo woke up to a nightmare. Her 15 year old otherwise healthy boy, Jonathan, woke up with swollen feet and symptoms that pointed to heart failure. Since then the family has experienced one medical setback after another. Their luck has recently taken a turn and with a lot of prayers and due to a gracious organ donor Jonathan was able to receive a heart transplant. Jonathan remains in Indianapolis and the family is anxiously waiting for his return home.

The family is struggling with making their current home hospitable enough to welcome Jonathan in a warm, stable and healthy environment. His home needs various repairs and as a single mom, Silvia is lacking the time and resources to make this transformation happen for her son. We are humbly reaching out to the community for support. Jonathan is a charismatic teen that just turned 16 on the 11th of January. He is beginning a new chapter in his life that will require constant medical care. He deserves to have a home that feels like HOME. Please help us make this a reality for him.

En noviembre de 2022 Silvia Marmolejo se despertó a pesadilla. Su hijo de 15 años, Jonathan, que hasta reciente siempre fue sano, se despertó con los pies hinchados y síntomas que indicaban insuficiencia cardíaca. Desde entonces, la familia ha experimentado complicacion con su condicion medica. Su suerte ha cambiado recientemente y con muchas oraciones y gracias a un amable donante de órganos, Jonathan pudo recibir un trasplante de corazón. Jonathan permanece en Indianápolis y la familia espera ansiosamente su regreso a casa.

La familia está luchando para hacer que su hogar actual sea lo suficientemente hospitalario para recibir a Jonathan en un ambiente cálido, estable y saludable. Su casa necesita varias reparaciones y, como madre soltera, a Silvia le falta el tiempo y los recursos para hacer realidad esta transformación para su hijo. Nos estamos acercando humildemente a la comunidad en busca de apoyo. Jonathan es un adolescente carismático que acaba de cumplir 16 años el 11 de enero. Está comenzando un nuevo capítulo en su vida que requerirá atención médica constante. Se merece tener un hogar que se sienta como HOGAR. Por favor, ayúdenos a hacer que esto sea una realidad para él.
