For those of you that know David, you know he is a devoted father, husband and a hard worker. David is the sole provider for their family
Here's their story:
David and Cassie had a trip planned Jan 2018. David had noticed his lymph noids were swollen so he decided to get checked out before they took off. He was prescribed anti-biotics and was told it didn't look concerning but to follow up if the issue didnt resolve.
They went on their trip and had an amazing time, and he seemed to be doing fine.
David had his annual physical in Febuary 2018 and everything came back good.
Early April 2018 David woke up to his arm pits swollen and followed up with the Dr. He did scans and a biopsy to find the unfortunate news that he does in deed have non-hodgkins lymphoma.. Since The inital diagnosis they have had numerous appointments causing him to miss work, and put an enormous amount of stress on their family.
Today 5/10/2018 the oncologist confirmed his cancer is stage 4, 40-50% of his bone marrow is cancerous, all of his lymph noids and his spleen are active (cancerous) He will begin chemo the week of 5/14/2018.. This will be a long road for their family emotionally, physically, and financially-please help them get through this rocky chapter of their lives❤ Any amount would be greatly appreciated!! I will continue to post updates as they come along..
