Sgt John Barcellano Memorial Scholarships 2024

Hello, my name is Lisa Moncur and I'm the Gold Star mother of Army Sgt John Barcellano, a tank crewman who was killed in 2017 while serving his country. Previously, two $500 scholarships were awarded in John's name at his high school, Paloma Valley, in Menifee CA. John was passionate about music and film, so one scholarship was awarded to a graduating senior in Marching Band, and the other to a graduating senior in Digital Arts. These scholarships are an impactful way to honor John's legacy of service and support higher education.
