Sgt. Sivad Johnson Fund
The Detroit Firefighters are mourning the death of their firefighter brother Sgt. Sivad Johnson. Sgt. Johnson was at the Belle Isle beach on Friday, August 21 with his 10-year-old daughter when he heard cries for help from three girls who were drowning.
Sgt. Johnson dove into the water to help rescue them and they were saved, but he was unable to resurface.
He leaves behind 2 daughters, 17 and 10.
Please join us in supporting the family of Detroit Firefighter Sgt. Sivad Johnson.
This fundraiser has been organized by Detroit Fire Department FEO Ron Jones, a co-worker and friend of Sgt. Johnson. All money donated will be used to help provide for the future needs of Sivad’s children, which his brother Jamal Johnson will oversee.
