SGT. Swartz Killed In The Line of Duty

On 8/22, Sgt. Swartz was serving a lockout order to a residence. When approaching the home, the resident opened fire, killing Sgt. Swartz, and critically wounding another officer.

Sgt. Swartz had faithfully served the community with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, and countless other agencies for over 25 years. He was a veteran of the US Army and took pride in protecting and serving his community.

He was the recipient of multiple awards for lives he saved while on and off duty. He was a wonderful officer, father, grandfather, son, and brother who will be missed immensely.

These funds will go directly to his family for any expenses that may arise.
