Sgt. Tom Wright Memorial Fund

Thomas Albert Wright was a retired police sergeant for the Monrovia Police Department for over 30 years. He started his career in law enforcement in 1979 as a mounted police officer for the city Monrovia California. He became a police officer in the early 80's and by the late 80's he  a narcotics  detective for Monrovia working on many high profile cases such as the "Night Stalker" and other notable cases throughout the 80's 90's and 00's
He ended his 35 year long career as a police sergeant in 2009 and spent his remaining years with his wife Cynthia Wright and his 7 children, Paul Wright 38, Katherine 25, Joeseph 24, Gabrielle 19, Michael 18, Juliana 12, and Alexandra Wright 11 years old.
     On November 5th at 2:15 am Thomas Albert Wright passed away due to unforeseen complications which occured after a sucessfull crainoptony, the premature departure caught the family off guard. He was diagnosed with late stage brain cancer and was given 2 years to live back in the begining of October. The family was not prepared for his passing so soon. This Gofundme page is to help cover the cost of  Tom's medical bills and other funeral related expenses.
   Tom Wright changed the lives and helped so many people, he was always helping others in everything he did. the world lost a great man, and we have lost a loving father, any donations will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to his family. Thank you and God bless.
