This is the donation page for the Bobby Peden Rocket POWer Scholarship. It was created to honor our friend, Bobby Peden, who passed away on October 5, 2016. Funds raised will be used for scholarships annually at Bay High School.
Bobby Peden was a friend to everybody and he definitely left a major impression on anybody he ever met. Bob was an outstanding athlete at Bay High School, earning 1st-Team All-SWC in both baseball and football and he also played on three SWC Champion basketball teams.
He also earned a full scholarship for football to Kent State University.
After graduating with a degree in finance, Bob immediately began his career as a civilian in the United States Department of Defense where he worked for 25 years.
The Bobby Peden Rocket POWer Scholarship recognizes a graduating senior who has overcome adversity. Yes, preference will be given to athletes, but applications are open to all students at Bay High School. The Bobby Peden Rocket Power Scholarship comes from Bob’s favorite word….. POW which meant power, strength, success, or victory. We appreciate your donations.
