Denise’s Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Jacee and I am fundraising for my mom.

Denise fell a week ago and broke her tibia right below her knee. Because she lives in rural Wyoming, and because the break was so complex, she had to be transported by ambulance to Billings, MT, where she had two surgeries and stayed in the hospital for 6 days. All without any insurance coverage. Most recently, my mom has been moved to a rehab facility in Worland, WY, to be cared for until she is able to go home. The cost of this facility is $10,000 per month, which has to be paid up front. We are hopeful she will be out in a month, but because of a broken arm she suffered in January, the transition to independent living will be difficult and could be prolonged.

Doctors anticipate my mom will need knee replacement surgery within the next year.
