Chris's Top Surgery Fund

Hi, my name is Chris Folsom and I'm a trans man in the Laramie area. I've identified as trans since my junior year of high school, but haven't pursued medical transitioning until now, mostly due to lack of healthcare access. But I'm starting a job at the University of Wyoming in August, so I'm going to have health insurance for the first time in a while. Until recently, I thought top surgery would be far outside of my financial means and hadn't considered it, but with new information I've gotten about the insurance I'll have, I now think I have a shot of raising enough to get it one day.

All of the proceeds from this GoFundMe will go towards double masectomy surgery and recovery costs. If the amount I raise somehow exceeds cost, I plan to donate that excess to another trans individual's GoFundMe for gender affirming care.
