Help Debra Johnson and family

Friends and family of Debra Johnson:  As some of you may know, Debra has had a rough few years; starting with an emergency room visit on the 4th of July 2019 requiring major surgery. Over the next year and a half, she had over nine medical procedures with a few more still needed. During her recovery, she became a full time caregiver in early 2021, after her mom suffered a heart attack and was placed in long term hospice at home. She had some help with caregiving for a while and for a few hours a day but the remaining 16 hours a day was on her. It was during this time, Deb suffered a DVT, a fractured kneecap, and a pulmonary embolism on top of her original issues. She also tried to continue to work as a Technical Documentation manager, doing consultant work from home when possible. Her Mom passed Nov 22, 2021. Since then, she has been trying to finally heal her remaining issues. She has one major issue left to fix. I have known her for 18 years and love her like family. The reason for this post is to help her all I can… Because of all these issues, she has not been able to fully recover or to work full time. She has depleted her savings. Any earlier financial help she had received from others is gone. Her husband works but without her income they cannot keep up the day to day. She is so close to getting control of her health and getting back to normal. She has always been about helping others, as well as taking care of her family and hates asking for help of any kind. She has managed up until now, however, it has become increasingly difficult. The stress of the pandemic only added to this situation. I know it a tough time right now for everyone, but if you are at all in a position to help her, even a little, so she can stay afloat…this would ease her situation, so she can finish this last procedure, heal, and get back on her feet….I know she would be so grateful.
