Dear friends and supporters,

My name is Shaan and I am 14 years old.

I am reaching out to you with an important request close to my heart. Since I was 5 years old, I've dedicated countless hours, sweat, and determination to Taekwondo, a sport that has become my passion and a huge part of who I am. At the beginning of November this year, I have the incredible opportunity to compete at the European Cadet Taekwondo Championships in Albania, representing not just myself, but our country on an international stage. The selection process has not been easy. I have won all Championships at the National level and in the last two years I have competed in 7 International Championships medalling in all of them. I am continuing to compete Internationally and as a part of my preparation for the European Cadet Taekwondo Championships I will attend another International Championship in September 2024 in Poland and British National Taekwondo Championships at the beginning of October.

However, all events are self-funded, which means my mum is responsible for covering all the costs associated with competing—travel, accommodation, registration fees, and more. Despite the challenges, I am determined to make my dream a reality.

But I can’t do it alone. I am humbly asking for your support. Any donation, no matter the size, will bring me one step closer to stepping onto that mat, proudly wearing our colours. Your generosity will not only help me reach my goal but will also remind me of the incredible community that believes in me.
