My name is Mohammed Shaat, I am currently residing in London Ontario, Canada, and have been witnessing the harrowing situation in Gaza, where my family, including my mother, my brother, and his wife, along with their four young children, find themselves caught in the crossfire of an ongoing war. The perilous conditions in Gaza have left them without a home, as their residence was recently destroyed, leaving them with no place to seek shelter and safety.
In response to the dire circumstances, the government of Canada has recently established an emergency visa program, allowing individuals in Canada to bring their family members from Gaza to seek refuge in this peaceful country. However, the government's support is limited to the provision of visas, and it does not cover any of the associated travel or living costs, so I find myself in a challenging situation where my financial resources are not sufficient to cover all the costs associated with my family's travel and stay in Canada. This financial constraint adds a layer of difficulty to an already critical and life-threatening situation.
The situation has become increasingly critical, and the safety of my family is at stake. I am asking you to support them in funding the essential travel and living expenses for my family's evacuation from Gaza to Canada. The total number of family members seeking refuge is seven, including four young children.

The funds collected will be utilized for airfare, temporary accommodation upon arrival in Canada, and necessities to help them rebuild their lives in a safe and secure environment. Additionally, we need assistance in covering the following specific expenses:
- Travel Costs (from Gaza to Egypt): Ensuring safe passage for my family from Gaza to Egypt, which may involve transportation and logistical expenses.
- Flight Tickets (from Egypt to Canada): Covering the cost of flights for all family members from Egypt to Canada.
- Rent (in Canada): Providing funds for the initial rent payment to secure a place for my family to live upon their arrival in Canada.
- Clothes (in Canada): Assisting with the purchase of clothing for my family, as they left their possessions behind in the conflict.
- Living Expenses (in Canada): Supporting ongoing living expenses, including food, utilities, and other necessities as my family establishes themselves in Canada.
