Shabb@Con - Def Con 30 Shabbat

After 2 years off due to the ongoing pandemic, the one and only minyan at Defcon returns again for 2022!

Shabb@Con strives to provide the infrastructure for religious Jews to attend the con. This year we will be a bit smaller and will be having a minyan but no meals. Arranging for a safe way to host meals for everyone proved to be too much of a challenge to pull off this year.

Since our setup is smaller this year we need fewer funds to operate, but we do still have to cover our storage unit, rentals, etc. which is why this fundraiser has been set up.

We've got some challenge coins left over from the run we did in 2019 year to give out to all donors of $100 or more. They feature our awesome new logo, and we should have them on hand in Las Vegas to give out to folks at Shabb@Con.

USE OF FUNDS

Funds will be used towards the suite rental, equipment rentals, renting a sefer torah, and other costs associated with making Shabbat. Any extra funds will be carried over to next year and if possible we will try to provide badges for some frum students to attend their first Def Con.
