Shadow and Brooke Are Getting Evicted

I'm getting evited! :(

I have a new 30-day pay or vacate, sent to me through the mail, that arrived with just 12 days to collect funds.

I have adjusted the goal amount to something a bit higher. The previous $3,500 went to my negative bank account, past due utility bills, and to the property management people. But since I pay high Seattle rentals and signed a new lease by myself just 3 months before losing my job, these charges pile up quickly.

I'm at my last ends here. I just need out of this last hole and I'm free of this bullshit I have called a life since March of 2023. If you can please help. I have so little and losing my apartment would be beyond devastating.

Hello all. My name is Brooke, and here's where I'm at.

Since I am posting here, it's not great.

In early March I lost my job unexpectedly and have not been able to find employment since. 2 months prior to losing my job, I signed another 12 month lease in my one bedroom apartment, where I have lived for the previous 2 years.

Back in May I was issued a 30 day pay or vacate notice which I was able to work with my property management folks over. However my property management lady said the owners are now getting worried about the back rent, which is at $5,000. I need this months rent, which is $1,500, pretty much right away.

I have revamped this gofundme I opened some time ago but never used. While I do not have a current 30 day or vacate I can feel the pressure building from my property management folks. This is now for $5,000, which will help pay my back rent.

IDK if I'll come near my goal, but this is where I'm at. I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard with the months of unemployment dragging on. I lost my job in March, my parents are retired and on a fixed income, and I don't have anywhere or anyone else to turn to. I am working as hard as I can to get a job, but still haven't had any offers yet.

On a happier note: my awful crackhead neighbors did end up moving out.
