Shaggy’s fight from Triaditis

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Ashley I’m fundraising today for my cat Shaggy’s vet bill. My cat has something that is called triaditis which causes cholangitis, pancreatitis, and inflammatory bowel disease. Shaggy has a fatty liver as well as a massive UTI. Little orange boy isn’t even a year old yet and had to fight for his life on October 26th, he gave everything he could to stay alive that day. I would never imagine having to go though something like this ever again. I took my cat into the vets on the 26th of that morning to Kent Veterinary Clinic, when I say that was one of the worst experiences of my life I will never forget it nor take another animal to that vets office. The vet proceed to tell me my cat has liver failure and that he is going to die. “I know death when I see it and this cat is going to die y’all better say y’all’s last prayers for him”. With out trying to take blood work or anything. He told me he could give him an IV and vitamin B with an antibiotic shot. You’re telling me my cat is going to die and then proceeds to inject liquid under the skin with a massive needle rather than in a catheter to hydrate him, tells me to take him home and watch him die or put him down there. I took him home proceeded to call multiple vets and got recommended to this lovely lady that did everything and anything she could do to make sure my cat didn’t die. She did just that, of course everything comes at a cost and there’s no way I would have let my cat die. He’s is our family and all my animals love him. He’s been in the care of Stafford Veterinarians Hospital since the 26th and won’t be home till Halloween or after Halloween. The vet was able to find he wasn’t having liver failure, he has triaditis, massive UTI, a fatty liver, jaundice, and was in the 12% range of dehydration. My shaggy could have well died 4 times on the 26th and they didn’t let that happen. Thank you so much Stafford Hospital for helping Shaggy.

Things come at a cost for the ones we love
A lot of different test were ran due to the fact of not knowing what was going on unless blood work was done. Hospitalization for 4-6 days, IV bags, and different types of meds everyday. Today the vet bill is at $910 and that isn’t with the next day and the next day of meds added. $1200 I have it set to because Go fund me takes a percentage and I don’t know how much the remaining 1-2 days left of hospitalization will cost. Anything and everything will help! Thank you for giving this the time of day to even read, have a good day.
