Shakeema's mother.

Hi!!

My name is Crystal! This gofundme is for Shakemma's mother who unexpectedly died on Sunday December 4th, 2022 at the age of 58. Her mother was everything to her. Her best friend. Shakeema is the oldest of 14 children and 22 grandchildren. Grieving is hard and trying to figure out how to give the person you loved the most a proper burial can be even harder; especially when it's unexpected. I'm starting this gofundme to help elevate some of the stress that the family is currently going through. Being the oldest child you have a lot of things you need to do. If we can help just a little I know Shakeema will be beyond grateful. If you can donate anything please do! If you are unable to at this time; please pass this along to anyone who knows Shakeema!

I met Shakeema only 1.5 year ago at Washington Square dog run in New York City and we quickly became friends. Shakeema has been a dog walker for the last 20 years in the West Village. Keema is a very hard worker and always has a smile on her face, cracking jokes, making sure all of her fur baby clients are getting the most of their time at the park while us dog parents can't do it. If you know Shakeema she doesn't let anything get in the way of her job even during the hard times. Shakeema is a beautiful soul who can use a little help this time. With her being the oldest and first born in the family she has a lot to handle. If us the dog community can help her I know she will be forever grateful.
