Friends and family~

We are in desperate need of help.

Our sweet Shaley Lynn, daughter of Shauna Stone, has been hospitalized repeatedly over the past eight weeks as teams of specialists have been called in to try to determine what has been afflicting our sweet girl.

She has been experiencing severe pain, blackouts, multi-system challenges, all without any clear answers. Until recently, we didn’t have a diagnosis.

Doctors are currently treating Shaley for two rare conditions - Adult Onset Still’s Disease (AOSD) and Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).

Doctors have not figured out what has caused these two rare conditions to hit at this time, but they are prescribing an aggressive course of treatment; including potent chemotherapy that is due to begin imminently.

Shaley has been unable to work through all of this, and it is unclear if or when she will be able to work again.

Shauna is Shaley’s caregiver at this time, as well as taking care of Shaley’s 4 year old son, Steven. Due to the constant back and forth to the hospital, Shauna’s involvement in Shaley’s care, and providing care for Steven, Shauna has also not been able to work consistently and has had to regretfully release clients - resulting in a significant drop in her income.

The family is doing what they can to get by, but bills are starting to come in and with not enough income to look forward to, the financial stress is also beginning to build.

We don’t know how long Shaley will be hospitalized for, how long chemotherapy will be prescribed for, or much else of anything at this point. What we do know is that we are struggling and could use help at this time.

If you can help financially at this time, the family would be humbly grateful and very appreciative.

We also welcome prayers, chants, intonations, and all other forms of intercessions on behalf of Shaley and the family. We also ask for wisdom and guidance for the medical team as they navigate the unknowns with Shaley’s conditions and treatments. Please also lift up and seek comfort and peace for Shaley and the family.
