Tree For Shalise Dedication Memorial Service

Shalise was a “bubbly” and genuine person who spread her kindness with a broad smile. She was in tune with nature, and found joy and gratitude in the elements of life which cannot be bought - the clouds, air, trees, flowers, laughter... Shalise often reflected on and meditated in beautiful parks surrounding and in Chicago.
Her inner peace radiated from within and touched the lives of those who knew her, including children from the Chicago area who she instructed in yoga. Many of you asked if there is anything you could do? Yes, there is . . .
Travon, my son, would like to purchase and dedicate a living tree in a Chicago Park in her memory. Chicago Parks Foundation indicated the cost for a tree Dedicated For Shalise ranges from $600 to $800 (depending on the size).
Would you donate towards the cost of having a tree planted in celebration of
Shalise’s life? No amount is too small.
